I prefer Zelle for close personal large payments, but CashApp and Venmo are good too. CashApp for no fees, but not as many people use it vs Venmo. Never do large payments on Venmo, because the instant fees are pretty big sometimes.

We use Square for credit cards, and it also allows you to use your phone as a terminal, but you can use the swipper or get a Bluetooth device. It also accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, tap to pay. Then Venmo always works too.
