What Users Really Think About Untappd: Find Drinks You Love

Shift away from core beer focus and excessive advertising

Too many ads. Too many badges. Every time you check in you get multiple badges - it kinda takes away any little fun they once had. Frankly can be cumbersome to use, too. Wish I could go back to the OG version before they got purchased and ruined

Untappd has lost its way. What used to be a fantastic beer sharing community, one can now literally check in tap water. Also, there’s serious privacy violation possibility lingering with regard to the soon to be sunsetted DM function

What’s the deal with removing functionality? I don’t use the app as much because of this.

Dumbest app ever created it should be called alcoholic or just be removed

Untappd is losing verified venues as it is becoming too expensive. They are de-emphasizing beer and pushing drinks. They have lost their way. Plus many do not care about queer breweries or supporters of queer programs, stop pushing it on us

Used to be my favorite app. Now all the sudden Deletes reviews over 5 years old so if you checked in a beer over 5 years ago don’t expect to be able to know you did or see your review. Basically shows like you never had it before.

Signed up to track drinks, got email about BBQ.
