What Users Really Think About Home Assistant

It's super frustrating how unstable it is. I had to delete the app, re-download it, reconnect it and it's still when I leave the app after doing something and then I go back to it, it says I'm disconnected. It asked me to share my location again. It asked me to connect my network again. It's like it...

Very tech and complicated. It took me months to get it all working. And when something goes wrong, it takes days of poking trying and reading GitHub gibberish to get it all running again.

After the last update I continually receive the error message “you’re disconnected” every time I launch the app and I can see I’m not the only one as there are similar reviews. Please fix this because it’s preventing me from accessing the app.

I loved how easy it was to turn off entire areas of lights before. Now it's confusing. Please consider changing back.

Constantly getting ‘you’re disconnected’ message when opening up the app

Recent update killed it working on local WiFi. Work just fine through my browser and on my android devices when connected to my local WiFi. It even works when I turn off my WiFi on my IOS devices.

Ridiculous levels of background use in the last week from this app. Optimize your app

Home Assistant app doesn’t seem to work unless it is on the IOT Wi-Fi where Home Assistant is connected. I am not putting a raspberry pi for iot on my secure network in UniFi and I’m not connecting my phone to the iot wifi. Deleting this junk.
