The one I use is called ‘Wikitrivia: Daily Trivia Club’, it pops up alongside the card game you mentioned when I look it up in the App Store (on my iPhone at least). ... Does anyone have any idea why it stopped ?

There are levels to be completed with 20 question a cash (in game not real) chest, and a mini game. Complete them all to raise a level. I was at level 196! It is the best trivia game I have found and really hope someone recognizes it.
