What Reddit Says About Speed Checker Apps

So, you know, there's a million places and apps to use for speed tests these days. I used to swear by Speakeasy myself, but it looks like even they are using Speedtest.net at this point. A lot of people use the Speed Test built into Chrome.

I usually mount my phone on my handlebars and use an app called SpeedX to check my speed and record my rides. Later, I can review the route map, speed, and elevation changes from the trip.

Hi, i have worked alot on MySpeedCheck app. Improved its accuracy and added a variety of relevant tools that everyone need to measure witi or cellular network speed.

The V1driver app is pretty neat also, I've tried it even w/o a V1, I personally prefer the Highway Radar app.

Garmin GPS for me. Super accurate speed except in tunnels.

With that said, I like https://speed.cloudflare.com/ because it provides additional data beyond just a speed number, which is helpful if you're trying to determine if you have an issue or not.
