I use Strava all the time! I actually use it in conjunction with Ski Tracks and whatever resort app, and Strava typically provides the most accurate statistics of the 3 based on my ski group's average data. Which is weird, because in theory, all 3 should be using the same GPS ping.

... I created an app called LastLift ... Epic (definitely) or Ikon (maybe) have that. ... The best maps by far are the Strava activity heat maps....

16 votes, 45 comments. Slopes is the most obvious answer (and it's great!), but I'm curious: what other apps do you all like using for different…

I've been using Shredder for a while now, and it's perfect for tracking speed, distance, and runs without needing a smartwatch. The app uses GPS to track everything in real-time, even offline, and it also helps you find other skiers at your level to ride with. Definitely worth checking out...

I may be biased, but try Ski Copilot. It shows where you are quickly and covers 5,000 resorts.

It would barely crack my top 10 of Colorado resorts. ... I’m with ya brother. Big Sky has got Beaver Creek beat. And Targhee needs to be up there next to Alta cuz of the snow. I know the mountain ain’t like Jackson but the snow is Alta quantity.

Ikon pass, i get discounts, can share my location ( resort wise) with my family and see where my kids are ... I have never needed an app for skiing.

I like slopes on Android. It also has some fun features you can opt into if you're skiing with others to visualize each other on the mountain (can be very handy when you separate or want to do different things).

I use Slopes. Discovered it last year. Love being able to track progress and challenging myself. Plus the leaderboard as others have mentioned. But if you stick to the local bump and your friends go away for a week skiing in the Rockies, it throws things out of proportion.

I love the look of the app and the features but most I'd them are hidden behind a pretty steep (got the pun) pay wall. I don't want to pay 5$ a day or 15$ for 7 days so I wonder if there are other good apps out there (for android). Ty Share ... It's not completely free but skitracks h...

If you are at a resort, I’d recommend Slopes or Ski Tracks over FATMAP. FATMAP is an amazing tool for plotting lines and checking out areas but not so great for tracking all the things you might want to see when skiing at the resort.

I ended up zooming in to the resort I was at, add the shortcut from that point, and it at least gave quick access directly to the page from my home screen. Not exactly what I wanted, but it worked as a bit of an easier way to get to Open Ski Map at least. ... I am going to Tignes next week, how is/w...

Does collecting resorts actually appeal to anyone? Share ... Kind of but not really, Slopes is a wicked tracker and amazing when you’re at the mountain. Mine is about post mountain, collection not tracking. Over years and years of visiting different places I want a nice place to organise my ski memo...

Some of us have both EPIC and IKON so need an app that can track all resorts. ... I use slopes. Just like to see my exercise stats. But over the last year a ton of new features have been added that make it a bit more interesting than just tracking calories. ... The sport where you strap two boards t...
