Please take my word for it as someone who has tried ALL the apps: Fits – Outfit Planner & Closet on the App Store (apple.com) - is the BEST one yet. Blows all the others out of the park. I highly suggest you trying it.

I use Smart Closet. A little manual to get everything loaded, but VERY customizable. Make your own categories (and sub-categories), seasons, colors, and collections to track different aspects of your clothes/outfits.
