Hmm.. never had a problem myself. My go to that plays anything is VLC, but never used it as a regular player. AIMP worked well but terrible interface IMO. Musicolet my be worth a try. ... Because if you ever lose your phone or need to reset it the app doesn't back up your music anywhere anymore...
