Try https://movielens.org. The site is run by a research lab at the University of Minnesota. They even have an option to import your IMDb ratings to their database. Also, you can tweak the recommender as you wish to make it more personalized.

Fair question! Letterboxd and IMDB are great but they're mainly tracking tools. Slate's main goal is recommending movies you'll actually enjoy by learning from your ratings and dismissals.

I like https://zinbin.com/ because it's easy to find people who are watching content that is similar to yours.They use the rankings of other people with a similar taste in movies to generate a "probable score". Their app also works great but I think it only works for IOS users only.
