Mostly I'd like the phone and text message apps in my recent Android phone to be more like phone and message and less like Facebook Messenger. They're confusing and I miss things. As a minimalist the most useful apps, addons or tools are things that allow me to bulk delete or sort things.

I don't know if this app is only exclusive with Unihertz phones but there's this app called, Student Mode where you can block sites, restrict apps and you cannot open it without pinning it. It's a good combo with some minimalist launchers.

I'm not affiliated in any way but I found this launcher and I really like it. Unlike Minimalist phone there's no monthly fee just a small one off payment to unlock extra features such as themes and more home screen apps, but honestly free might well be enough for you.
