This will probably be my most frequently used app, so I actually prefer a paid app to avoid ads and/or review-nag windows. …thanks Share ... I use Hantor Magnifier & Microscope. I have the plus version so there are no ads or other interruptions.

Originally, I would always use the Camera app, but I found the whole process tedious over time and left some embarrassing selfies in my photo library. It was until I realized I had the Magnifier app, and it was the best thing ever since I was able to see details that I could never see before, even w...

You could, if it comes down to it, root your phone and use a DPI changing app to increase the DPI, which would fool your phone into thinking it had a smaller screen, and thus make it display everything bigger.

Magnifier is great. It lets you use your phone camera as a magnifier and you can even take amazing high quality super zoomed photos with it.

Not sure myself, what version of accessibility suite are you on? The magnification settings on my end allow for quick methods for magnifying and dropping out of it so you don’t have to leave it that way when not needed.

This allows you to examine something temporarily (for instance a menu) with magnification and other effects without having to hold the camera on it or create a picture file to clutter up your gallery until you get around to deleting it. A pity that it is only available for Pixel phones. ... I'm...

I didn't like on iOS that I had to use three fingers since that took over more of the screen, but maybe that's changed. I like the triple tap and then you can actually customize whether the magnifier is the whole screen, half, or there are other different sized squares you can drag around.

Network access most of the time is for ads. Contrary to past unfortunately almost every free app has ads these days. Two I think adfree magnifier apps are (enable flashlight AndyLens longpress anywhere on screen, other has flashlight on/off button):

Like others have stated, Windows Magnifier works great nowadays, and is included free with Windows.

If money is a concern then an android tablet with a stand and the wezoom app would be my recommendation. I just use the built in magnifier app on my phone for everything.

One of the difficulties I had with the camera app is that you couldn't leave the LED on for close up pictures to read off resistor codes. The magnifier app will let you manually leave the iPhone flashlight on, and set a fixed zoom if needed and save the controls layout so you can jump back to P...

I've resorted to using Blacksun software's "magnifixer" portable. I keep it docked at the bottom. Only issue is that i'm always having to click it's taskbar icon to get it to reappear. Sometimes it goes wonky and I found I have to reset the zoom factor every so often. I...

The best bet is to modify the built in magnifier to go by 1% increments. The reality I have found is that anything other then the built in magnifier slows the computer to a crawl. ... Glassbrick is fantastic. You can change the activation keys to whatever's most intuitive for you! It's fre...
