Try the 'LingoRadar' app. It is totally free und super easy to connect with language exchange partners in your city.

Definitely HelloTalk, it just has tons of people so you eventually (or quickly if lucky) find a good exchange partner ... A community for anybody interested in learning other languages.

Any suggestions are appreciated! ... Have you tried Busuu or Babbel? They're more structured than Duolingo and don't rely as heavily on AI. For language exchange without the weird dating vibes, maybe check out ConversationExchange or iTalki's ...

Unfortunately, none of the others really rival the level of functionality and development of HelloTalk, but if you’re looking to mix it up, there’s Tandem, Hilokal, Lingbe, Speaky, Interpals.

Hey! Someone suggested Interpals app to me. They said it’s supposed to be for language exchange although it hasn’t really been working out for them. Might be worth a try though. I just downloaded it but haven’t even opened it yet. There were less than 500 ratings and it’s rated 4 stars.
