Personally I use Programs such as: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro (this one is only available on Mac Products) for Introductions/Outro Videos.

I used Panzoid.com for my intro maker. You can edit them to your liking and change the music also. Beware if you change the music though that copyright infringement still apply and youtube will flag you for it.

I used Bananashop, but I purchased a package with a custom intro, outro, channel art, and thumbnail, so it was a bit more expensive. If you aren't looking for all of that, you can find plenty of designers that can make you an intro for much less.
