Group text with family, GroupMe with a group of old friends, and Facebook Messenger for hobby-related chats that are tied to a couple Facebook groups. Group texts can be annoying at times. GroupMe is probably my favorite.

These all have apps on iTunes and web browser access. ... I love Telegram, too. I use that often to send small files or pictures between Android and Windows, even with the same account. All that would be annoying with Whatsapp. Hard part with all group chats is to get all to use that app if it isn&#...

Several years ago it was 100% Facebook messenger, and ha was simple because everyone was on Facebook and I only needed one app. Now most friends are on IG but Whatsapp is super common to form chat groups also.

Signal is probably the best but still not actually approved for DoD use. So just make sure you’re not putting out anything CUI+ on there. I’m not a huge fan because the iOS version is missing some features and it can be a bit buggy at times but it’s better than managing SMS group chats.

I would recommend slack im using for more than a year and never went down it is smooth and perfect and integrates with many softwares like google agenda, drive etc ... ... Google Chat is extremely robust and free.

Are you talking about the "clear chat" feature? I meant with Telegram that you can delete the message from your device and whoever else's you sent it to (better than Whatsapp which only gives you 24 hrs). ... It's for the entire group, so my friends groups is set to disappear aft...

Microsoft Teams so you can have multiple chats and collaborative work/files. Plus, it’s used in a lot of workplaces and proficiency wouldn’t hurt in terms of career prep. The UX is smooth and functional unlike Boomer Discord (slack).
