I’ve tried them all and I think Manabox is the best. The only thing it’s missing is syncing across multiple devices, but the devs have been working on that feature for over a year and claim it may release by end of 2024.

As for what you've read, the Revopoint POP 3 is considered the best of the sub-$1,000 scanners by some publications and its Plus version also has optical zoom, which offers resolution almost as good as the Mini-series.
