We use an app called OurGroceries. You can make lists for different stores or lists for what you have in the freezer or pantry right now. There’s an option for storing recipes. Everything you add to a list gets permanently stored for future reference until you decide to remove it.

Freezer has always DL at 128 for me, never stopped working.

I had the idea too.... ended up using a shared note with my wife, worked good enough especially with the check boxes.

The only things that I keep track of in my freezer and leftovers / meal preps. And for those I just use the notes app on my iPhone. Pretty simple.

You could try "Pantry Check" it's free and reminds you when things are going to expire! I don't know how it will fare with multiple freezers though.
