I personally have account on freelancer.com,upwork and fiverr, for me the best one was upwork until they raised the connects required to apply for a job and the bidding system where you pay more connects so you could show up higher.

Switched from SurelyWork and am now on Nova and literally the best thing I’ve done. I’ve done like 8k in work in the last month and even have my portfolio on there. Really struggled for the last 6 years to find work and just finally getting in the groove lmao. I'm an editor but my close circle ...

Maybe the listings you see and apply don't match you. Or you can be a better option for them if you work harder on your portfolio etc., ofc. like everyone. ... I am developing a platform called Xlancr to solve these exact pain points, what do you think about maybe capping the underbidding limit...

I can vouch for Upwork. It's well established with plenty of clients available. That's not to say it's easy to get work as there's a ton of freelancers there too so you'll have a lot of competition, especially while you're a new profile.

Freelancer is dogshit. You will see people out there talking about Upwork success, even though success is relative. You never hear about someone killing it on Freelancer. They have a different approach to making money off freelancers. But again, try it out. People told me Upwork sucks.

Not exactly no-code, but Caspio is a low-code platform that's pretty easy to pick up. They offer free certification and weekly online training, and there's less competition on Upwork compared to Bubble or Airtable.

Any reqs besides UpWork or Fiverr bc they suck tbh.

Work out your hourly rate then charge 10% more than that - the "good" clients on platform (yes, google/financial times/apple etc all hire freelancers on upwork) will set hourly filters when searching for candidates - price yourself too low and they'll ignore you.

You might want to also check out Bonzai. It's geared towards freelancers and offers a simpler approach.

Upwork and Fiverr are super competitive, hard to rank there, many people buying fake reviews or offering services for $1 to rank faster. I'd go with an alternative option, check Qorexy, their website always compares the best Fiverr alternatives.

Search for posts on Linkedin where people are looking for freelancers and agencies. Reach out to them. Look for companies hiring app developers and reach out to them.
