I have been using Total Commander for years. It's probably the first or second app I install on a new device.

Only reason why I think it's not recommended often is the paywall to use all these features but I paid I think less than $10 a long time ago and now have an amazing app forever I can even use on my Android TV.

CX File Explorer – Great UI and functionality. Solid Explorer – Feature-rich, customizable, and aesthetically pleasing. All three are top-notch and worth trying out depending on your preferences.
