There's a bit of a learning curve (as i imagine there is with every program) but I'm very satisfied so far (I've had it maybe 3 years now?) & can resize files, change file type, and create my own embroideries from scratch, or create an image in illustrator etc & port it over.

Embird is what I currently use. It's not as good as Hatch but better than InkStitch. It's a dedicated embroidery software so it's more intuitive and easier to use but it has less features than Hatch and is a little clunky and outdated looking.

I have a Janome MemoryCraft500 embroidery machine and I've been looking for good inexpensive software for a while now. I downloaded the trial version of Hatch Digitizer and i really love it, it has all the options i need (except manual cross-stitch digitising which has it's own addont).

Floriani is a much better option, and less expensive. If you dont want to spend money on a top of the line commercial embroidery machine such as Tajima,ZSK, or Barudan, and are looking to buy a Chinese made instead then get a BAI.
