They should be pretty applicable to most other states, but if something seems to be different then you can just work around it and answer the question that apply. The app is called "PA driver's practice test."

As the previous comment mentioned, you should absolutely get the handbook! But I’m also using an app that asks similar questions to the real thing called, “DMV Practice Test” by Minh Pham found in the App Store (I failed once but passed the second time).

I don't know of any apps helping with the practical exam of the driving test. I think the only effective thing you can do is to actually drive with your instructor. You have to complete a minimum number of driving lessons, anyway, after which you are normally good enough to pass the test.

Driving Theory Test 4 in 1 Kit is what I used and I passed without issue.

Testi app pinging me regularly. That's the one I'd recommend.

So I’d say it’s worth spending the £10 to save how much ever it was for the theory, plus the hassle of having to retake the test. Try it ... Comparatively I will say 4in1 has similar Qs and format that comes in the actual test. ... How much was the paid app, sounds like it wasn't worth the money.
