The flyclops app is the way too go. Lots of active players in Blitz, you can always get a game going. You can get rid of ads with a one time purchase as well, which is pretty worth it if you play like I do.

My friends and I swear by Domino! by Flyclops. It's simple and looks good. They have super responsive customer service whenever there's a bug with the app.

I have the free app from Fiogonia Limited. It's gone from occasional one-screen ads to full commercials after about every set. Ughhh

If not, any suggestions for an iOS solo dominoes game? I've been trying "Domino - Dominoes Online Game," but the ads are driving me nuts. If they had an option to just buy the app in one fell swoop, I'd do it, but they only offer a subscription model if $2 a month.

If you are going to use dominoes frequently, the time you save with the setup and adjustability makes it totally worth it. I use dowels just because I don’t do this type of woodworking frequently.
