For what purpose? Finding where the are? I don’t use an app unless you count visually scanning an area on a map - GaiaGPS. Booking them? I do so through websites. I guess AirBnB/ Vrbo/idk you can book campsites?

IOverlander and Campendium will get you where you wanna be. If you want the airbnb of campsites, hip camp is fricken sweet

In OsmAnd you can search for nearby campsites on the go and w/o the need for online data.

The best app you can get is whatever shows the best maps. You have to go out and look, since a campsite that's good today might be off limits, inaccessible, or trashed by the next time one goes out.

Or campground in areas your looking to explore. ... Have you tried RV Trip Wizard? It's worth the subscription. ... Have you compared the data between RV Trip Wizard, Campendium, and Allstays?

I know there's a lot of apps out there which claim to have all kinds of data on campsites and reviews and stuff, but I've had a lot of trouble finding ones with information on stuff beyond rv camps and crowded major campsites right next to the road. I'm willing to pay for a good app, ...

SearchForSites - brilliant for France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. Not so good for Poland or the Baltics. The best data quality for the areas it covers. My preferred app, and it includes all types of camping - motorhome/camper, tent, and caravan.

AllStays app for finding CGs, dumps, RV dealers and repairs, low underpasses, etc...many ways to configure the finder filters. Hipcamp app for the more alternative places, such as backyards and business parking lots.
