If you are into looping loopy is a good app but you have to purchase it. And have YouTube for all the beatbox videos to teach and inspire you.

There are great apps for that, but all of them only use a tab on the screen as an input, I would love something where I'm able to use a mic and beatboxing as an input.

Just go to the app store/Google Play store and search "voice recorder" and it should give you a ton of options with most of them being free, I assume. From there you just gotta try a few out and see what you like.

Thanks for your reply. I've looked at their website and some youtube videos, this looks good. It's a bit more pricey and has more features than what I'm looking for, but looks solid and definitely worth considering.

Koala on Android is wonderful for music making. While it is technically a sampler and beat maker you can set it up and use it as a looper pretty easily. I built something for people who like minimal apps.

I have an app called "LoopStation - Looper", its ok for just messing about with but its not gonna replace a 505. Worth a download tho
