The app has grown, like a spastic child becoming a teenager. Maybe better, but it’s not very good at everything.
The app used to seize up and shift the page mid-article. You would not only lose you★★★☆☆
As a long term subscriber, I’m gobsmacked by the NYT’s editorial decision (explicit?) to ignore the mounting frustration everyday Americans have with this administration’s policy— and especially with ★★☆☆☆
It’s just hard to imagine how The New York Times can spend so much time and energy, creating great content and put a little effort into making a decent app. The app does not seem to have any sense of Veredicto
