Update Jan2026: new update has truly somehow made this app worse. Now we can’t even see the title of the show playing because they added some arbitrary “segment titles”. How about fixing continuous pl— 3rin_______

This has been a problem with iPhone IT geek, engineers for decades. It used to be I turned on my car and the phone would hijack my stereo and immediately start playing the first song in my music app. — normbal

I switched back to Apple Podcasts after 2 years. It’s just as inconvenient & buggy as ever.
BUGGY: Half my podcasts start 3/4 of the way through. Kinda sucks when you don’t want to hear the ending f— nhand1022
