Key Weakness

Inaccurate depth soundings and no cross-platform chart licensing

"Compared to the Navionics maps and app, it's simply not a viable option. Shallow Tampa Bay, Florida is my main sail area and this is routinely off by 5+ feet where it matters most."
"Sick of buying multiple copies of the same chart. I have TZ on a laptop and of course I can't use those charts on iBoat. Charts, the gift that keeps giving."

What Users Are Saying

The program needs to allow routes to be combined into a trip plan.

Don’t understand how an app that cost this much doesn’t have a better satellite image. So many free apps out there with better sat images

I subscribed to this thinking that it would be a great backup for the chart plotter on mu boat. I also wanted to use it as a chart plotter for my dinghy when off on excursions. The maps really are very good, your position does not update very well while in motion. So it is really kind of like having...

Nothing but “oops, something went wrong” error page.

Automatic routes would be good and easier intregation with chart plotter to share routes and navigation info
