I’ve been paying for a subscription but it only shows me free content a couple of times then only shows me a subscribe screen. I’ve synced the subscription multiple times but doesn’t work. Ive deleted the app and reinstalled… nothing. I’ve reached out to customer support multiple times, no response....
Newspaper is great, but the app is a battery killer and overheats the phone. Also, reader comments cannot be read, not can you contribute
App works okay but music always pauses when i open the app. Idk why WSJ feels the need to hijack the audio every single time when theres literally nothing playing
I read the Journal every day, making it my primary source for news which I’ve trusted for decades. I switched from newsprint to the app maybe 15 years ago, preferring its portability and searchability. The “Define” function is great, since every issue has a word or two I don’t know. The app itself...
Pages are cluttered with large banner on top and small banner on bottom. Takes up 1/3 of screen.
Unless you’re paying for this a subscription, don’t even bother. Paywalls are around every corner and renders this app useless. Just include a subscription as part of the download price at this point lol
WSJ continues to abuse the breaking news push notification setting by spamming your notifications with fluff pieces that are in no way breaking news. Without useful notifications, the app is useless. Back to the mobile website again.
