Key Weakness

Frequent and disruptive UI changes without user input.

"Stop changing the UI. I refuse to go to the popular section now."
"App is total garbage. Keep making terrible UI changes and no way to revert back."

What Users Are Saying

Installed the app hoping that it would be less buggy than the website. Unfortunately just as buggy but in different ways. How has humanity made an online discussion forum so complicated that its maintainers can’t manage the quality?!

Every day I have to guess whether the UI is changed. It’s happened about 10 times this year and is infuriating. Also, the playform is rampant with bots just repost the clickbait and commenting.

The app incessantly refreshes the content and things you were just browsing disappear before your eyes. Just let us refresh, you don’t need to do anything. And stop pushing all your dumb features onto us.

Can’t believe you took away text copy. Shame on you.

I just want to swipe thru popular, latest… the new interface sucks. Just all around terrible. If I accidentally swipe off of popular, I have to start over again. Not wasting my time.

Despite countless updates, the app still regularly forces me to close and restart multiple times daily because it won’t let me exit after tapping into a post. This is a core functionality, and it has been broken ever since they unleashed the “new” app experience.

Couldn’t login with the apple account on the app. Where website works fine.

Official app is horrid. 3rd party developers were much better at developing.
