Critical update-related bugs causing complete app failures, inability to add pets, and broken Apple Watch integration

"Yesterday I updated to the newest version and now it crashes every time I try to open it. Really bummed I can't use it anymore."

App requires subscription in order to use all features of the app. Subscription was not mentioned in the description of the app. 1 star rating for lack of transparency.

I have a gecko and would love to use this app but it seems to only be for dogs and cats. please open it up to other animals!

I wish there was the ability to see a map of the runs so I could have my dog sitter use DogNote. Also, how do I account for my dog running off leash a bunch on our walks? Still a lot of UX improvement opportunities but otherwise a nice app.

I suggest everyone take the time to search for an app called “FurPal” by Ryan Rook. It’s a great alternative to this app and I personally like it a lot better. It’s set up like the Apple Health app only it’s focused on your dog’s health. It’s also a one-time purchase and NOT a subscription.
